The volume includes a nominal roll of those who served in No. 46 (Royal Marine) Commando, casualty lists (all ranks, killed, wounded), and awards. 46 Commando was a battalion-sized formation of the Royal Marines within the British Commando forces, established in August 1943 during the Second World War. Landed in Normandy (near Sword Beach) on D 1, severe fighting in Normandy breakout. Then on to the Rhine Crossing and Elbe. A Roll of Honour to all ranks, killed, wounded, and awards complete this history that is categorised as scarce in it’s original 1946 printing.
